Quality Foster Care

It is our intention at QFC to provide a fostering service of the highest quality. Quality Foster Care is a family based organisation
whose members have been directly involved in foster care for the past two decades.

Our pledge to provide a quality service is essential to our philosophy. Our aspiration is to keep a realistic pricing policy without
lowering standards. We are keenly aware of the need for providing a best value service to our clients. For example, we bear the full
cost of our initial four week assessment, which encompasses counselling needs assessment or play therapy at the request of the
Local Authority.

We emphasise the quality aspect of our philosophy, for we place quality above quantity, always keeping the child and carer's well
being at the forefront of our service. We acknowledge that the well being of the children and young people, whose care is entrusted
to us, is the cardinal focus for our activities.

Jenni Paterson Registered Manager
Responsible for all QFC working Social Workers, Jenni is a former Manager / Senior Practitioner of the
Adoption Team for Southend Borough Council. She has been a Qualified Social Worker for 24 Years, 18 of
these as a family placement worker. Jenni is also a qualified teacher and trainer for Parentline plus.

Heather Brown Supervising Social Worker
Heather works for Quality Foster Care, looking after our Foster Carers. She is a qualified Social Worker, with
9 years experience of looking after teenagers with challenging behaviour within a residential setting. Heather
also has 5 years experience working in fostering for the Local Authority and alternative Fostering agencies.

Rose Goodrick Supervising Social Worker
Rose, like Heather also looks after our Foster Carers. Rose is a qualified Social Worker with over 10 years experience
working with children & young people within a residential setting.
Rose also worked as a Local Authority Placements Officer for over 6 years before joining
QFC.

Karen Stevenson Administrator
Karen was a registered child minder with Essex County Council for over 10 years. More recently, Karen worked
in similar administrative roles for over 4 years before joining QFC.
