Events

In the summer time Quality Foster Care organise a day out for all looked after children and
young people, as well as foster carers and their birth children. This has previously been a
"back to basics" event with sack races, cricket, bouncy castle and face painting. Also outings
to a local amusement park with rides and games for the children and young people.

Quality Foster Care foster carers have regular training in topics including Safe Care and
De-Esculation skills, First Aid, Challenging Behaviour, Drugs and Alcohol Awareness & Valuing
Diversity.

In addition to this rolling training course, QFC runs a programme to enable foster carers to
acheive NVQ Level 3 qualification in caring for children and young people.
