Supporting you every step of the way as a Foster Carer

  • As a Foster Carer with Five Rivers, you’ll also receive a weekly allowance, starting at £463.54.
  • You’ll also receive a £200 birthday payment, and £200 festival allowance per child alongside a Blue Light Discount Card (which provides discounts at various high street and out-of-town retailers and leisure venues).
  • Once you’re an approved Foster Carer, you’ll have your own dedicated, highly qualified Supervising Social Worker who will help you understand how to support the child your caring for.
  • Our unique, research-based training is designed to help you feel confident and well-prepared, giving you the tools to provide therapeutic care that truly makes a difference.
  • We’re here for you, no matter the time – day or night. Our 24/7 support means you’ll never feel alone, something not all Local Authorities or agencies can promise.

Our support package provides Carers with the peace of mind they need to do their job well – because that’s what really matters.
