Finding out what type of foster carer you want to be

Some children need a foster home for a night or two and others may need a more permanent place to call home. There are lots of different ways you can foster and you will learn more about this on your journey to become a foster carer.

Non-permanent

Temporary placements which can last a couple of days or more

Long term placements often lasting through to young adulthood
